Still Going Strong

Well not much going on in the photography business but I do continue to shoot when I get a chance. I would really like to start a photography club in my area so we can shoot and learn with each other.

Perry Family Reunion

I just wanted to share that a great time was shared by all the the Perry family reunion. Prior to me joining the Air Force I went every year with the family. Now we make it every few years and I really enjoy seeing everyone.

Please take a look at the images and let me know what you think.

I just wanted to say that the DC Sports Box is still going strong and we received credentials to cover the AT&T National Golf Tournament at Congressional Country Club. This is Tiger Woods tournament who is playing this year as he was sidelined most of last year following knee surgery.

A Long Time Since Last Post

It has been a long time since my last post. Due to my current job I have not had a lot of time to post or do as much photography as I would like.

I have shot some weddings and sports an have a few more weddings coming up. I also have a couple family shoots over the next couple of months.

I am still playing with my Medium Format (Mamiya 645 Pro TL) and just picked up a Polaroid back for it.

I had a few problems with the polaroid back as the rollers were not dispensing the developer to the film. I went through a couple pack of film prior to taking it back to te store. They (Penn Camera in DC) always do a great job and replaced the rollers and I was in business.

I am going to do some shooting today with a friend and work on outdoor shooting and exposure with fill flash.

I'll post some later.

The DCSportsBox

The DCSportsBox is an integral part of my life. A few of us use to shoot for another on-line sports network and Al Santos stepped up and started the DCSportsBox.

Several of us photographers and writers followed Al (2006) in this adverture and it has been a great ride ever sense.

The DCSportsBox can bee found at http://www.dcsportsbox.com/

We cover Pro and College sports in the Washington DC area and are unique to other sports networks. We not only photograph and report on each sporting event we cover but we also showcase our photography by having photo galleries and the option so sell some of the images for certain events.

One great thing about this group is we all love what we are doing and have a great time with each other.
